Philanthropy

Wright & O'Donnell's attorneys are actively involved in many philanthropic activities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as a good portion of the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. The firm strongly encourages and aids such efforts whenever possible.

Most of the firm's attorneys are involved in the pro bono representation of indigent parties in New Jersey. These cases often involve domestic, family and criminal matters for members of the community who cannot otherwise afford legal representation.

The firm's attorneys are also involved in activities in support of the missions of their local churches and schools. These include organizing various fund-raising activities, teaching classes, and participation and oversight of scouting events.

Some of the attorneys are also involved in counseling, supporting and guiding young underprivileged students. As a result of financial and family difficulties, many of these students would not otherwise pursue higher education. Through the support and guidance of some of the firm's attorneys, these students are now successfully pursuing college educations.

Finally, a number of the firm's attorneys spend much of their free time in support of humane organizations, from fund raising, food collections, and legal work for animal rescue groups throughout the East Coast of the United States. The focus of these efforts is rescuing dogs and cats from "high kill" shelters in the Southeast, and transporting them to places where they are no longer in danger of being euthanized; in fact, most are quickly adopted into loving homes.

Above is "Buster", who is just one of the hundreds of dogs Law Wright has rescued through his efforts with Freedom Train Animal Rescue Transports and Animal Rescue Flights. Buster was adopted by Sheila O'Donnell and has quickly become a central part of her family, as well as a valued member of the firm.
