Philosophy

Wright & O’Donnell’s goal is to provide our clients with the best results in the most cost effective manner.

Aggressive Representation

We aggressively represent our clients from assignment of a case through resolution. Great results are often due to team effort, and we work with our clients at all times to achieve the optimum outcome.

Although we strive to resolve cases early, often cases cannot be resolved short of trial. Our attorneys have tried numerous cases in the state and federal courts in the area, and are willing and able to try future cases as they arise.

While the current state of the law in the United States ordinarily precludes the recovery of fees and costs, there are certain exceptions to that rule that may apply to the circumstances of a case. When appropriate, Wright & O’Donnell pursues the recovery of fees and costs for its clients.

Strategic Planning

Too often, lawyers follow a standard procedure for defending cases or evaluating/litigating insurance issues without being vigilant to the unique characteristics that are found in almost every case. While we draw on experiences from other matters, we are also very sensitive to the unique circumstances of every case and attempt to use them to develop a strategic plan. By doing so, our attorneys are often able to develop and advance both legal and/or factual approaches that might not otherwise be considered; this strategy often results in successful outcomes.

Technology And Efficiency

Traditionally, clients desiring aggressive and experienced attorneys are faced with exorbitant hourly rates and/or high bills for services from large defense firms. These increased rates are often tied to high overhead.

Beginning with its inception and continuing to the present, Wright & O’Donnell strives for efficient legal representation for all of its clients. This includes an extremely efficient office organization, coupled with a highly advanced computer system that is constantly being updated to stay on the cutting edge of technology in the legal profession.

Wright & O’Donnell has direct access through its computer system to the computer data bases in most of the Federal and State Courthouses in the area. This means that the firm and the firm’s clients have direct access to the most current information on the case dockets, and also direct access to perform miscellaneous tasks, such as name searches conducted in an effort to ascertain whether a particular individual is litigious. Often, this can lead to information that is especially useful in defending personal injury claims. This information is available at a fraction of the cost and time involved in obtaining the same information using outside vendors.

In addition to the foregoing, all of our attorneys have direct access to two of the most up to date legal research data bases in the United States. Using these data bases, our attorneys have access to not only all of the statutes and case law in every jurisdiction in the United States, but also the public records available in every jurisdiction. When coupled with the information we obtain directly from the court dockets, these become powerful tools in defeating or minimizing claims. Moreover, Wright & O’Donnell has negotiated a flat rate for use of these data bases; therefore, our clients are given the most current legal information and public records available, usually at no additional cost.

Personal Service

Wright & O’Donnell considers every one of our clients as our only client. Our attorneys are always accessible to our clients and available to respond to inquiries. It is our policy to respond to all inquiries promptly and accurately. Regardless of who is the principal attorney handling the matter at Wright & O’Donnell, the firm’s founding partners, Law Wright and Sheila O’Donnell, are always available to discuss strategy and any other file related issues that may arise.

Our goal is to provide services tailored to meet the client’s needs. We are willing to work with our clients at all times to evaluate claims and/or pending cases, develop defense strategies, and otherwise achieve the client’s objectives. We recognize that some of our clients often have special reporting, case management and billing requirements or procedures. We are willing and able to tailor our services accordingly.
